[Create your Summon] Summon Creation Format

Summons are good for about any kind of ninja. There are currently three different types of summons, all of which have different specialties and rulings. They are; Pets, Summons, and Puppets.

Upon registration, you can only start with 2 companions at most.

Pets:
Pets are the animals that help out your character. They can range from birds to bugs to anything in between. The main thing that separates the pets from the summons is that pets tend to be standard animals. Have a lion? Pet. Have a giant hawk that breaths acid? Summon. There are 3 ways to tell if your companion is a summon or pet.

Pets can't:
Communicate freely with the world: Pets are limited to using their body to communicate and a close bond between owner and pet.
Human Intelligence: If your companion has the intelligence that stands on par with the human's ability to comprehend then it is not a pet.
Use Jutsu On it's Own: This one is a little less obvious. If your pet was alone in the middle of the woods, it would not be able to use Gouyudan no Jutsu, while a summon would be able to. In battle this doesn't really have an effect, since both shinobi and pet train together. They should be able to easily shape the pets chakra for them, even from across the battle field.

Summons:
Summons are generally bigger than pets. For the most part, they are extremely similar to pets. The templates are almost exactly the same! Summons always need to be summoned with a variant of Kuchiyose no jutsu (Summoning Jutsu). However, unlike pets, summons will take up 2 companion slots.

Puppets:
Puppets are most commonly found to be used by puppeteers from Sunagakure, but they can also be used by other people, just find a new way to use them.

Until we figure out a way for people to gain the Jutsu "Hitokugutsu {Human Puppet}" to turn dead corpses into puppets, no Human Puppets will be allowed.
